Why give to LBU Community Clinic?

LBU Community Clinic has been serving the Dallas community for 5 decades.

In 1971, the clinic opened from a portable building in impoverished West Dallas neighborhood. Today, thanks to generous supporters including our own patients, LBU boasts nearly 70,000 square feet of clinic space on the West Dallas campus and in south Oak Cliff. A 4th clinic location is set to be open in South Dallas in 2021.

From the West Dallas clinic campus, 30 clinicians provide 80,000 patient visits each year for 29,000 patients of all ages. The newer south Oak Cliff clinic, with 5 clinicians, provides services for an additional 6,000 patients and 10,000 patient visits. Patients are drawn from all parts of Dallas County although West Dallas, Oak Cliff and surrounding communities are our core market areas.

LBU has gained a great deal of experience serving the community for so long and continues to respond to the community’s changing needs. Our tag line says it best: Together we are healthier and stronger.

Your financial support is vital to our organization and an investment in the health of your community. Simply put, we cannot do it without you.
