Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic needs your support!
Why give to LBUCC?
Giving a tax-deductible gift is a great way to ensure that LBUCC can continue to provide affordable health care services to low-income, mostly uninsured families.
We have been serving the Dallas community for over nearly 5 decades! In 1972, the clinic operated from a portable building in impoverished West Dallas. Today, thanks to generous supporters including our own patients, LBUCC boasts nearly 70,000 square feet of clinic space on the West Dallas campus and in south Oak Cliff.
From the West Dallas clinic campus, 30 clinicians provide 80,000 patient visits each year for 29,000 patients of all ages. The newer south Oak Cliff clinic, with 5 clinicians, provides services for an additional 6,000 patients and 10,000 patient visits. Patients are drawn from all parts of Dallas County although West Dallas, Oak Cliff and surrounding communities are our core market areas.
LBUCC has gained a great deal of experience serving the community for so long and continues to respond to the community’s changing needs. Our tag line says it best: Healthy People, Healthy Community.
Your financial support is vital to our organization and an investment in the health of your community. Simply put, we cannot do it without you.
